The Christmas season is right around the corner and many of you have started your Christmas shopping already. This year has brought unforeseen challenges for many families in our community. Remember those less fortunate by helping make this Christmas one to remember for a child in need. Sports equipment and apparel, nail polish, board games, craft kits, Lego sets, superhero toys, princess costumes, and dolls are on the wish lists of many this year! The St. Vincent de Paul Gift Program provides gifts to families associated with the Marillac House. Parents come to the center the weekend before Christmas, and with a $5 donation per household, can choose one gift for each child. Monetary donations collected from families are used for field trips for the children throughout the year. Please consider adding another gift to your list this year!
November 19 through December 10, gift tags will be available on the Christmas tree located at the Webster entrance. Return the gifts unwrapped to the altar steps or bring them to the Parish Center no later than Sunday, December 11. If you prefer to shop online, use the Marillac House Christmas Store website to access their Amazon Wish List: https://smile.amazon.com/hz/charitylist/ls/2OSY19LIP5HDK
Volunteers are needed Sunday, December 11, 2022 following the 8:00 a.m. mass, to help sort the gifts in the Parish Center. Please contact Kristin Lapinski at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to sign up.
Thank you for your help and support in making a child’s Christmas brighter!
