Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. From the moment of our founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are Catholic men of faith and men of charitable action.  The Lincoln Park Council was founded in 2015 and we meet the First Sunday of the month at 11 a.m. in the Parish Center. Knight Chapter 16161 Chancellor

I’ve been a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul for almost 20 years.  I’ve been looking for a fellowship of Catholic Men to conduct/participate in Catholic Charities, strengthen my faith, and acquire friendship.  I have found a great group within the Knights of Chapter 16161.  Being involved with the Knights is driving me to be a better Husband to my beautiful wife, Katie, as well as a better Man in general, treating my fellow men/women with the Golden Rule.

I have been going to St. Vincent dePaul for about a year. I have been a Knight for around 15 years. However, I moved around alot and did not participate that much. Then, I was moved by the Holy Spirit to reconnect with faith as well as the Knight of Columbus. When I finally decided to engage, the Knights were having a meeting that very day. Since then, my life has improved dramatically. I am a better husband, father, friend, employee, and community member as a result.

Knight Chapter 16161 Recorder

I am a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul and a proud Catholic Chicagoan. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Playwriting as I love writing, expanding my faith in God, and bonding with my Brother Knights. Ask me anything about the stock market to creative literature as I promise good friendship for life. Lets see what we can do in evolving charity and love for our world in the name of Jesus Christ!
