Homily for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 2018

We often get frustrated when we see something that needs to change but doesn’t, whether in our personal struggles, our country or our Church. Yet we are reminded today that our God comes to save us as Isaiah said. God doesn’t abandon us, but is continuing the work of new life within each of us. Allow yourself to be transformed by God’s grace. We then in turn become channels of this grace to others who are hurt, poor and marginalized.
