Homily from February 12th, 2017
Homily In Brief for the 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time:
“There is a lot of falsehood and manipulation in our world and the facts sometimes don’t seem to matter. Vincent de Paul talked about the key virtue of simplicity, which means honesty in many ways. Let your yes mean yes, as Jesus says in the Gospel. Not being manipulative, not having hidden agendas, not engaging in backbiting is the virtue of simplicity. That leads to authenticity and integrity. Let us strive for simplicity, authenticity and integrity.”
