Homily from July 16, 2017
Homily In Brief for the 15th Sunday of Ordinary Time:
While I don’t know much about gardening, I do know that you need good soil for plants to grow and flourish. Jesus’ parable of the sower reminds us to reflect on how we tend our own openness to God’s Word. We are invited to think about what we need to do to be more open. What small actions can we take today to respond to the Word of God? How can we become good soil that bears the fruit of the Reign of God and God’s love?
