Homily from July 23, 2017
Homily In Brief for the 16th Sunday of Ordinary Time:
We often know what is right or helpful for us to do, but end up doing the opposite. We are a mix of weeds and wheat, as Jesus says in today’s parable. But God is ever patient with us, helping us to grow and working within us to cultivate the good wheat of the Reign of God. Let us ask for that grace to cultivate the wheat while working to eliminate the weeds in our lives.
