Homily from May 21, 2017

Homily In Brief for the 6th Sunday of Easter:

Jesus promises to always be with us and to love us, yet sometimes we don’t sense that presence. But faith invites us to follow his command to love one another. When we do so, God works through us to love, forgive, console. And when others love us, it is Christ’s loving presence that comes through to us. We are not abandoned because the Spirit dwells within us and enables us to love.  And when we love, God is present.
