We’re Hiring- Lead Receptionist!



The receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and facility support to ensure that the parish can effectively serve our parishioners and the general public efficiently.


  • Welcome visitors; current, new, and potential parishioners; and volunteers who come to the Parish Center.
  • Receive, respond, or direct and relay telephone messages and parish emails, including general voice mail.
  • Familiarize oneself with regular parish functions and parish life to provide information about parish staff, regular and special events, and outreach services.
  • Direct people to the appropriate staff members when needed.
  • Maintain parish paper calendar for office use
  • Print certificates for Sacraments in Church. Research sacrament requests and create certificates upon request for sacraments at other churches or needs.
  • Update Sacramental records in parish record books.
  • Data entry of Sunday contributions in Parish Data System.
  • Coordinate Mass Intention requests and devotional candles.
  • Church Bulletin - Provide information for calendar, mass intentions and other items for bulletin.
  • Edit and proofread bulletin and keep copies in file.
  • Assist with office supply inventory when necessary
  • Manage bulk mailings.
  • Receive all mail/deliveries, sort and notify staff of any packages.
  • Assist parish staff and various Parish Commissions in the recruitment of volunteers and ticket sales for special events as needed.
  • ¬†Provide support to all other parish staff as needed, including but not limited to, managing mass
  • materials being printed and folding mass materials for weekend services,
  • Control access to the Parish Center and Church.
  • Lock and unlock the Church and Parish Center facilities as needed according to scheduled activity.
  • Turn the lighting on and off.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
